What is a Positive Duty Review?
The new Positive Duty under the Sex Discrimination Act means that you must work towards eliminating sex discrimination, sexual harassment and sex-based harassment in your workplace.
To start, you need to identify the areas where you are already compliant and the areas where you need to make improvements.
My Positive Duty Diagnostic will give you a clear idea of exactly where your business or organisation sits on the journey to compliance, as well as a list of tasks you need to undertake to achieve compliance.
Why should you complete a Review?
The Guidelines for Complying with the Positive Duty outline the intricate process that businesses and organisation must use to eliminate sex discrimination, sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination from their workplaces.
It is easy for the process to become overwhelming.
Instead, you want clear steps that not only help you to become compliant but build a workplace where everyone feels safe, as well as included and respected.

There are 4 steps in the process.

You tell me about your business or organisation.
We work through my diagnostic, which will enable me to determine where exactly you sit on the journey to compliance and conduct a risk assessment.

Step 2
I analyse your responses and explain what you need to do to become compliant
I analyse your responses and provide you with written recommendations on what you need to do to become compliant and a strategic plan outlining the steps you need to get there.
Duration: 1 week.
Step 3
We meet to discuss my recommendations
We meet again to go through the recommendations I have made and discuss the steps you need to take to get there.
During this phase, we ensure that my recommendations are tailored to the needs and requirements of your business or organisation
Duration: 60-minute Zoom meeting.
Step 4
I develop a strategic plan
I prepare a strategic plan which sets out the steps you need to take to achieve compliance.
It sets also sets out a proposed timeframe for completing the journey to compliance.
